Drake premiered his first single, “Over,” in Toronto at his hometown radio station 93.5. The track, off his upcoming debut album, “Thank Me Later,” has no set release date but planned for May 2010.

Diddy is planning to do it big in Honor of Notorious BIG,  Tuesday, March 9. For the first time in years Diddy will host a party in Brooklyn celebrating the 13th anniversary of his longtime friend’s death.

According to the New York Post, the party will take place at The Lab, a club in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood of Brooklyn where Biggie grew up.

“We’re trying to make March 9th a national hip-hop holiday,” Diddy told MTV News. “It already is on the low…. It’s a big day. It’s a day to celebrate his life. It’s a day to celebrate the life of the man. We done did the movie, the records. It’s something that, I guess as a label we’re obsessed with: making sure people don’t forget about this man in a positive way. March 9 is Biggie Day… Bump Biggie all day, feel good and positive.”

Jay-Z and Beyonce visited President Barack Obama at the White House on Thursday.  On the BP3 album Jay Z said, “Obama on the text, yall should be afraid of what I’m gone do next”. From the looks of these photos, I’d say Jay Z might decide to run for President. Now that would be a sight to see.

Rapper 50 Cent released a private X-rated video featuring a Florida woman named Lastonia Leviston. The sex tape was first published on 50’s official website and has quickly spread virally causing Lastonia severe emotional distress. Lastonia and an unidentified man, who’s face is blurred out in the video, “videotaped themselves engaging in sexually explicit activities” in June 2008, but the guy had promised to destroy the tape. The tape was given or sold to 50 who turned it into a x-rated comedy that mocked Rick Ross. The rapper also reportedly accused this woman of being a “call girl”, causing her further embarrassment.

TLC group member Chilli is looking for love on her upcoming reality show set to air on VH1. Reportedly, the show will be called “What Chilli Wants” and the R&B singer will be taking advice from relationship expert Tionna Smalls.

Allen Inverson’s wife Tawanna Iverson, filed for a divorce a week after the NBA star announced he would be out for the season to care for his 4 year old sick daughter. Reportedly, Tawanna Iverson has stated that her marriage to A.I. is “irretrievably broken.” The couple has been married for nearly 9 years and have 5 children ranging from 1-15 years of age.

According to R&B singer Monica, Keyshia was in labor Monday night (March 1, 2010).

Monica’s first status update  on Twitter, came around 2:30 p.m. ET on Tuesday, stating: “RT everyone is calling me asking about KC. She’s doing great. She’s in active labor but the baby has not been born yet as reported.”
